The A 6.2 ME (Master Edition) is an integrated amplifier designed with a single goal: to provide the best possible sound quality. Using a high-speed MOSFET output stage, it delivers 180 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 300 watts per channel at 4 ohms,

The massive power supply of the A 6.2 ME features an oversized ring core transformer and 120,000 microfarads of AVM's proprietary capacitors, allowing it to run in pure Class A for most normal listeners while ensuring that even the most demanding speakers can be driven to full orchestral levels. Further refinements include a discrete headphone amplifier that runs entirely in Class A; internal wiring selected for improved sound quality andnoise suppression; black circuit boards with strong gold traces for improved stability and heat dissipation; speaker terminals processed by AVM itself; and control knobs that are completely machined in one unit with shafts to ensure perfect balance and years of trouble-free operation.
