The secret to the incredibly lifelike sound of the CS2.4 begins with a redesigned mid/high-frequency driver array. The CS2.4 houses a high-performance tweeter in the midrange driver,where a mechanical crossover separates the two drivers. This sophisticated design maintains the proper time alignment for the high and mid frequencies, creating unmatched accuracy and realism.

Detailed, musical bass
The bass is supported by an aluminum woofer and a passive radiator. A motor structure, consisting of a short voice coil sitting in a large magnet, drives the woofer effortlessly. Unlike the voice coils found in most speakers that extend outside the magnet, the intentionally short voice coil always 'sees' the optimal magnetic field as it moves back and forth. This eliminates distortion caused by variations in magnetic strength. The passive radiatorincreases the speaker's output power. All of this adds up to a precise, musical bass that perfectly complements the highs without being 'boomy' or overbearing.
