Thorens TD 1601 with TAS 1600 – Stabilizer and Leather Pad

Description:

The Thorens TD 1601 combines everything the TD 1600 offers with some additional features regarding comfort and connection to amplifiers. Classic wooden base, two-part platter with inner band and thick rubber mat, powerful motor control unit, armboard, and acrylic dust cover are expanded with symmetrical outputs and functions for easier handling.

The cone springs for the sub-chassis are no longer mounted on the top plate but stand on the underside. Additionally, a small but tightly screwed steel thread connects the sub-chassis with a steel pin on the underside, preventing any wobbling of the sub-chassis and allowing only vertical movement.

An electric lift is also included and a contactless automatic shut-off. XLR sockets provide a true symmetrical connection to amplifiers.
